For calibration of measuring instruments (SI) designed to determine the mass fraction of sulfur in light petroleum products by the X-ray fluorescence method, to control the metrological characteristics of SI during their tests, including for type approval; certification of measurement methods and control the accuracy of measurement results of the mass fraction of sulfur in light petroleum products by burning in a lamp according to GOST 19121-73, GOST R 51859-2002, ASTM D 1266, X-ray fluorescence method according to GOST R 51947-2002, ASTM D 4294. CO can be used for verification and calibration of appropriate measuring instruments, provided that its metrological and technical characteristics meet the criteria established in the methods of verification and calibration of appropriate measuring instruments.
