The standard sample of the composition of a phenol solution in ethanol is intended:
- For calibration of measuring instruments (SI) designed to determine the content of phenol in environmental objects and technical products by photometric, spectrophotometric, chromatographic, including specialized methods, to control the metrological characteristics of SI during their tests, including for type approval,
- For certification of measurement methods and control of accuracy of measurement results of phenol content in environmental objects and technical products by photometric, spectrophotometric, chromatographic, including specialized methods.
CO can be used for verification and calibration of appropriate measuring instruments, provided that its metrological and technical characteristics meet the criteria established in the methods of verification and calibration of appropriate measuring instruments.
Technical specifications:
- The mass concentration of phenol is 1.00 mg/cm3;
- The permissible range of mass concentrations is 0.95-1.05 mg/cm3;
- The limits of the relative error of the certified value of GSO - ?, at P = 0.95, are ± 1.0 %;
- The standard sample is a solution of phenol with a mass fraction of the base substance of at least 99.3% in ethyl alcohol.
The shelf life of the CO copy is 2 years.
