ECROSKHIM LLC took part in the scientific and practical seminar "Application of X-ray spectral methods and electron microscopy methods in the study of forensic examination objects", which was held from October 20 to 22, 2025 at the Russian Federal State Scientific and Technical University named after Professor A.R. Shlyakhov at the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in Moscow.
The seminar became a platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge between forensic experts and manufacturers of analytical equipment. During the event, modern methods of identification and analysis of substances used in criminology and forensic examination were discussed.
We talked about a wide range of equipment based on the X-ray fluorescence analysis method, including the proven ECROS XRF 9700 STARFISH and ECROS XRF 9710 PEARL spectrometers, as well as the innovative ECROS XRF 9720 STINGRAY scanning microprobe. The seminar participants were particularly interested in the ECROS XRD line of X-ray diffractometers.
"X–ray fluorescence and X-ray phase analysis methods play an important role in modern forensic examination, as they are non-destructive, rapid and easy to use," said Elena V. Bakhvalova, a representative of ECROSCHEM LLC, during the presentation.
