Oleg Vitalievich Arapov was awarded a high award at the 23rd International Exhibition of Laboratory Equipment and Chemical Reagents ANALYTICA EXPO 2025 – the Order “For Services to the Russian Chemical Industry” of the first degree. This is a well-deserved recognition of his many years of dedicated work, significant contribution to the development of the industry and outstanding achievements in scientific and industrial activities.
Oleg Vitalievich Arapov's biography is a vivid example of dedication to science, an innovative approach and a desire to achieve his goals. From a young age, he showed interest in the exact sciences, which led him in 1974 to the Chemical Faculty of Leningrad State University, from which he successfully graduated.
His subsequent career went through various stages, each of which was marked by significant achievements. Since the founding of Ekros Scientific and Production Association in 1990, Oleg Vitalievich has been its permanent leader and ideological inspirer. It was thanks to his efforts that the company became one of the first in the domestic market to offer modern advanced approaches to solving the problems facing analytical laboratories.
The indisputable evidence of his high professionalism and social importance is his election in 2001 as a full member of the Russian Metrological Academy. His work has been repeatedly awarded with high awards: in 2002 – the golden badge of honor "Public Recognition", in 2005 – the "Order of Recognition" and the order "Star of Russian Management-2005". Oleg Vitalievich's contribution to the development of St. Petersburg also received well-deserved recognition: in 2006, he was awarded a diploma from the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg and a medal "Dedicated to the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg." In 2008, he was awarded the diploma of Governor Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko, he was awarded the title of "Honored Chemist of Russia."
Oleg Vitalievich is one of the authors of thirteen patents for industrial designs and inventions obtained by the company over the past five years. Under his leadership, the innovative development "Placenta Bioconcentrate" was developed and patented, which was awarded a gold medal at the V Moscow International Salon of Innovation and Investment in 2005.
Over the years, Oleg Arapov has successfully combined teaching with scientific work, which resulted in a successful thesis defense in the field of theoretical organic chemistry. He has published a number of monographs and more than 100 scientific articles, which attests to his deep knowledge and dedication to science.
In addition, Oleg Vitalievich was one of the founders of the Association of Developers, manufacturers and suppliers of Chemical products and laboratory equipment "Roshimreaktiv". For a long time, EKROS and Oleg Vitalievich participated in and supported the actors of the Satire Theater on Vasilyevsky Island and were also sponsors of the Chemist's Day at the Chemical Faculty of St. Petersburg State University.
