Application:
The standard sample of permanganate oxidability of water is used to control the accuracy of measurements of permanganate oxidability of natural, wastewater and drinking water according to GOST 23268.12-78, GOST R 55684-2013, PNDF 14.1:2:4.154-99 (ed. 2012), certification of measurement methods for permanganate oxidability of water.
CO can be used for verification and calibration of relevant measuring instruments, provided that its metrological and technical characteristics meet the criteria set out in the verification and calibration methods of the relevant measuring instruments.
Technical specifications:
- Certified value of permanganate oxidizability of CO: 1.00 mg/cm3 (oxygen consumption in mg per oxidation of 1 cm3 of the standard sample);
- The limits of the relative error of the certified value with a confidence probability of P = 0.95 are ± 1.0%;
- The relative extended uncertainty with a coverage factor of k=2 is 1.0%.
The shelf life of a copy of CO is 2 years.
