The material of the standard sample is unleaded summer gasoline of the AI-92-K5 brand according to GOST 32513-2013.

The range of permissible certified values with:
- detonation resistance (octane number): according to the motor method from 82 to 85, according to the research method from 91 to 95;
- the limits of the permissible values of the absolute error at P = 0.95: according to the motor method ± 0.7, according to the research method ± 0.5;
- permissible values of absolute extended uncertainty at k = 2, P = 0.95: according to the motor method ± 0.7, according to the research method ± 0.5.
