Application:
- For calibration of measuring instruments (SI) of the mass fraction of sulfur in oil and petroleum products by the X-ray fluorescence method, control of the metrological characteristics of SI during their tests, including for the purpose of type approval;
- For certification of measurement methods and control of accuracy of measurement results of the mass fraction of sulfur in oil and petroleum products by the X-ray fluorescence method according to GOST R 51947-2002, GOST 32139-2019, GOST ISO 8754-2013, ASTM D4294-21, GOST 50442-92, GOST 53203-2022, GOST ISO 14596-2016, ASTM D2622-21;
- By the method of ultraviolet fluorescence according to GOST R 56342-2015.
CO can be used for verification and calibration of relevant measuring instruments, provided that its metrological and technical characteristics meet the criteria set out in the verification and calibration methods of the relevant measuring instruments.
Technical specifications:
- The certified value of CO is 1,000% of the mass fraction of sulfur;
- The limits of the relative error of the certified CO value, at P = 0.95, comp. ± 2.5 %;
- Relative extended uncertainty at coefficient 2, comp. 2.5%.
The shelf life of CO copies is 2 years.
