Set of reference light filters is included in each scope of delivery of spectrophotometers PE. The values of reference light filters which are taken at unit shipment are included in the report attached to the instrument.

Application:
- RLF enables to control the correctness of measurements when the results of measurement are doubtful. In this case, first of all, it is necessary to check the values on reference light filters. In most cases they align with the values indicated in the technical documentation. Consequently, it is necessary to check the correctness of analysis procedure or rinse the cuvette properly once again.
- Pretesting of the unit before calibration

Set of reference light filters includes:

1.RLF for checking of photometric characteristics
- Glass type НС8, 7% transmittance, wavelength - 400, 550, 750 nm
- Glass type НС8, 50% transmittance, wavelength - 400, 550, 750 nm
- Glass type КУВИ, 90% transmittance, wavelength - 400, 550, 750 nm
2. Reference light filter ПС-7 for checking of wavelength setting with minimum transmittance close by wavelengths 431, 585.5, 685 nm
3. Adapter for installation of RLF into cell-holder

The symbols «7%», «50%» and «90%» applied to the frames of the light filters are not measured values of their transmittance. The measurement results obtained on the filters shall be compared with the values given in the report.

The set of RLF is not a verifying instrument.
